Her true colours came through when the producers wanted her to fly down to begin taping the pilot on the same Sunday that Canada's men's hockey team was playing in the Olympic gold-medal final. "I said, 'You are kidding me. You are so American to be asking me to do this!"

Skarsten stayed, watched Canada win and later wore her Team Canada tuque down to the set. Don't mess with this plucky Bird Of Prey.
